Ms Pauline Boyle is a Clinical Specialist Dietitian in Tallaght University Hospital (TUH), Dublin. She qualified with a MSc Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Ulster in 2001 and has worked in TUH for 18 years. Pauline is the lead dietitian for the management of eating disorder patients in the hospital and she is a co-author on the new IAEM eating disorder guideline.
Pauline collaborates nationally with many of her INDI colleagues who work in mental health services looking after patients with eating disorders. She is proficient in using cognitive behaviour therapy to enhance patient motivation. She is competent and certified in using nutrition focused physical examination (NFPE) to enhance nutritional assessment and make nutritional diagnosis. Pauline is passionate about her role in the recognition, assessment and management of patients with eating disorders.
