Dr Joanna McGlynn is a Consultant in Geriatric Medicine who has been working in Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore for 5 years.
She graduated in Medicine from UCD in 2007 and trained in Ireland via the RCPI Higher Specialist Training Scheme. Joanna completed a Masters in Healthcare Management with IPA/UCD in 2017. She is the current chair of the medical board and co-chair of the deteriorating patient committee in MRHT. Joanna’s specialist areas of interest are frailty and dementia and she currently sits on the steering group for the Integrated Care Programme for Older People in Laois/Offaly.
